چکیده
It has been shown previously (1) that mung bean seedlings (Phaseolus aureus) contain uridine diphosphate derivatives of n-glucose, n-galactose, n-xylose, and L-arabinose. These seedlings, as well as a number of other higher plants, also contain enzymatic systems capable of catalyzing the reversible formation of sugar nucleotides from UTPI and various monosaccharide l-phosphates (2, 3) according to the reaction
